Desperate help needed

Postby onehandsolo » Sat Dec 26, 2009 2:56 pm

I am desperately looking for a way to increase your programs fast forward speed OR the default sony player reason is below:

I am playing these huge audio books that are over 2 hours long and the book mark function in your program would work well except for the problem that i fall asleep before im able to turn the book mark on ( i listen to these near bed time)

So what i've been doing is using the sony player with it's built in timer feature of 30 minutes to turn the PSP off for me and i usualy have fallen asleep by then and in combination with
hold+ another great program im able to get about 10 hours + battery this way while i listen to these Mp3 audio books

The problem is this tho if the PSP looses it's power then it forgets where i was in the audio file thus causing me to have to fast forward ... SLOWLY at 120x through a 2-3 hour file that can take up to 1 minute or more to find where i left off
& if im using your program then i usually fall asleep before im able to bookmark the audio book and ive found your program does not have a 30 minute sleep feature similar to the sony one

but anyways i am just wondering if it's possible to increase the fast forward speed through the PRX's like you have created for your program
and if that was possible would it not be possible to write a custom prx that would allow for the 3x fast forward speed to be more then the default of 120x
because if that were possible it would really make me a great and wonderful christmas present since i only use my PSP for audiobooks

Another solution would be to add a sleep timer + auto book mark function to just save me the headache of any of this :\

It's so frustrating when i could just go buy an Ipod touch and scroll through a long audio track with my finger but on the psp i have to wait sooo long to go through a giant audio file
I just wish a solution to this would be made by you or someone who could point me in a good direction or help

Well your time & everyone here is appreciated and i will check this back every day to see any updates & all replies are appreciated
Thanks for anything!

Hi!

Many thanks for your comment.
LightMP3 should have a 30 minutes sleep function. I dindn't test it because was added by another coder (not by me).
For the other suggestions: I'm not workng on LightMP3 at the moment, I'll keep this in mind... ;)
