[HELP] making my own EQ presets?

Ok my question is this, I want to make some custom EQ presets along the lines as Winamp's Full Bass and Trebble. I'm looking to maximize bass while still having trebble. What does each of those 32 columns represent? I know it needs to be in db but I have no idea what column is for what. In most EQ's Ive seen they only go to 10 sliders. How do I determine what the other 22 columns are? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks
